Plantation teak

Grown for the timber, joined by mortise and tenon. Left outdoors, plantation teak weathers to a soft silver-grey — and that silvering is the finish doing its job, not a fault. Cleaned and lightly oiled, it comes back to honey brown. Either way the timber underneath is unchanged, and the joint still holds.

316 stainless & all-weather wicker

Where the frame turns to metal it turns to 316 stainless steel; where it turns to weave, it’s all-weather wicker worked over a solid frame, with quick-dry sling on the seating that wears it. No paint to chip, no chrome to pit — surfaces chosen to stand in the open and stay honest about it.

Outdoor-grade foams & fabrics

Cushions are built on quick-dry reticulated foam that sheds water rather than holding it, wrapped in solution-dyed acrylic that keeps its colour in the sun. Fabric grades run to a schedule, and your own material is welcome — swatches by satchel before anything is specified.

Care & Refresh

Built to be looked after, not babied.

Teak asks almost nothing — a wash each season, an oil if you want the honey back. Cushions and canopies wear on a slower clock; when they’re ready, Care & Refresh re-covers and refurbishes existing pieces — quoted per piece, in current or new fabric selections — so year five still reads the way it was specified.

The cushion library, all 135 swatches, by grade.

Kingsley Bate cushions and canopies are specified from a named fabric library. Choose one on any piece that takes a cushion and it is saved with that piece, through your shortlist to the workspace schedule. Where the record carries it, customer’s own material (C.O.M.) is accepted, confirmed per piece at quote.
