Sliding system, plus crank, plus foot-pedal-operated 360° base rotation and 140° tilt — the canopy pivots on its pole to angle the shade without moving the base and the pole also rotates so the canopy can be turned to face the sun.

A single pole rises through the centre of the canopy and carries its full weight and wind load down to a base. The canopy opens, closes and, where the row supports it, tilts along that one central support.
