Commercial shade, specified to the site.
Centre-post and cantilever umbrellas, tensioned sails and the bases that carry them, each configured by model, shape, size, fabric and frame colour. A torn or faded canopy is replaced on its own, made to the model and size of the frame already standing.

Replacement canopies
A new canopy for the frame you have.
Caravita canopies are made to order by model, size and fabric, so a torn or faded canopy is replaced on its own and the frame stays in use.
A damaged frame is replaced with a new frame or a new umbrella, and quoted with the canopy.

The range
Four ways to hold a canopy up.
Centre post
Big Ben, Samara, Supremo, Centro, Grande
One post through the centre of the canopy, opened by crank or a balanced sliding runner and closed telescopically.
Cantilever
The post stands to one side and the space beneath stays clear. Amalfi carries one, two or four canopies from a single mast.
Tensioned sail
No mast at all: the sail is drawn tight between corner and edge posts, All Season’s on a three-way turnbuckle and 6 mm stainless steel cable.
Mobile base
Multicube
A gabion base with a timber top, moved by pallet truck.

Wind
Big Ben was tested in a wind tunnel by structural engineers, and Caravita states that the 3 × 3 m version is “wind-stable up to 100 km/h”.
Scale
Grande opens to 8 × 8 m square, 6 × 8 m rectangular or Ø 10 m round, shading up to 79 m².

Ballast
Bases run from the 42 kg Oslo plate to the 450 kg steel plate specified for Grande, with ground sleeves for a permanent fixing.

Built to the site, not just the order.
Big Ben Freestyle takes the site’s own shape, up to 7 m along a side and 36 m² in area, the shorter side at least half the longer. Amalfi’s wall pole is produced to the wall it mounts on, installation and crank heights included.
