Casualife

Dining tables

How many sizes a range scales to.

A range scales two ways in our supplier files — several fixed sizes cut from one design, or a single table extended through a published span. 64 of the 127 collections carrying a published dining table do at least one of the two: 11 extend, the rest by shipping distinct fixed sizes. Every number below is the manufacturer’s own, printed in the order the book prints it.

64 ranges scale

Sorted by how many sizes each one publishes — the range with the most sizes leads. Extension, where a range has it, is printed as an added fact rather than a separate list: DOLMEN ships four fixed sizes and extends one of them, and this page does not make it choose which fact to show.

17 ranges publish one size

One footprint, on the manufacturer’s own word for it — no scaling claim to make.

46 ranges name a size we have not parsed into a figure

The manufacturer states a size in the product’s own name — “Boavista Fixed table (160x90)”, “Deer 200x100 Table” — that no supplier column decomposes into a plan figure. A sibling row in several of these same collections states a table BASE’s maximum compatible tabletop in the same sentence shape as a table’s own footprint, so this page reads the name rather than guess which number a parser caught. Shown here exactly as the manufacturer wrote it.

Browse all 562 dining pieces in the full index

562 pieces across 127 collections, drawn from 577 supplier rows classified “Dining tables” or “Extension tables”. A piece can print more than one row (a current listing and a historic one, most often); this page counts the piece once and prefers its current row where one exists.

25 of the 127 collections above are archive only — every row historic, nothing in the current book — and are marked “Archive piece” rather than left to read as part of today’s range. Nothing on this site hides a historic row; the mark says which scaling claims describe what Casualife can offer today versus what it can only enquire on.

A further 40 are current-book collections still to be confirmed — a quotation settles it quickly.

No dining table’s seat count is derived here. No manufacturer here publishes a seat-count word for a dining table — every “-seater” in the supplier files names a sofa — so a people-per-metre rule would be this page inventing a number the books do not print, across a range that includes round, square, oval and bar-backed tables. Left out rather than estimated.
