teak, stainless steel, batyline. 12 pieces indexed in this collection.
Kingsley Bate is teak-first, so the browse unit is the material rather than a colourway: the timber is specified by how it is allowed to weather, not by a paint code.
Kingsley Bate’s own wording for this piece, as published on our Kingsley Bate site — original spelling kept. Cushion and cover references are the supplier’s accessory codes, confirmed at quote.
Batyline sling; cream or black
The maker's named cushion library — 135 fabrics across grades A to D. Choose one and it is kept with the piece, through the shortlist, the workspace schedule and the export.
Fabric images are not to scale and colour reads differently on every screen — order a physical sample before specifying. Swatches and grades are the maker’s own, read from Kingsley Bate (manufacturer) (2026-07-31) and Kingsley Bate Australia (Casualife microsite) (2026-07-25).
Cushion thickness is deck arithmetic, not a style choice: the maker builds the bare frame deck low or high knowing what will sit on it, and the cushion is the remainder to a comfortable finished seat. That is why a dining pad runs thin and deep seating runs thick — neither is an upgrade on the other.
Kingsley Bate specifies a cushion in three published steps — the piece, the fabric grade, the edge style — across four edge styles and two fabric tiers (Standard and High-Performance). Cushions are sized to the frame, and the maker’s own care page says it plainly: stand a soaked cushion on edge and let it drain.
Made to order through our supplier workshops — sized to this frame, in your chosen fabric, from a thin dining pad to a full deep-seating build.

Sheets are issued per piece against the current supplier revision, so the drawing you receive matches what will be built, not an older press.
