Projects — iSiMAR reference

Grand Paradiso Ibiza

A hotel that is photographed before it is described. The pool deck at Grand Paradiso reads as one designed object — frame colour, cushion colour, tile and parasol pitched together — and the furniture is what carries it.

The pool at Grand Paradiso Ibiza in full sun, GRAND PARADISO lettered across the pool floor, rows of burnt-orange sunloungers under scalloped cream parasols on both terraces, a lemon-yellow bar pavilion and a stone watchtower behind.

A manufacturer reference, not a Casualife installation. iSiMAR publishes Grand Paradiso Ibiza as its own project and we republish it with the record attached. Casualife’s own Australian references sit on the projects page, behind management confirmation.

The colour case

The colour is not an accessory here; it is the specification. ILMIODESIGN drew the PARADISO and LAGARTO collections for iSiMAR, then specified them into this hotel — and the collection carries the hotel back, because “Paradiso pink / Rosa paradiso” is a standing row in iSiMAR’s frame powder-coat system.

A venue that photographs well is a venue that fills. iSiMAR builds that in at the order line rather than leaving it to styling: 32 frame powder-coat colourways and 14 fabric collections across four grades, on the same pieces, at the same lead time.

That is what makes a scheme like this specifiable rather than lucky — the frame is the colour, so it survives the sun, the salt and the wash-down that a cushion-led scheme does not.

Grand Paradiso Ibiza, room by room

Each room below shows the frames we hold of it, what it is doing with colour, and the pieces a record places in it — with the record itself, so the attachment can be judged rather than taken. Where nothing is attributed, the room says why.

The pool deck

  • A close row of double sunloungers with white tubular frames, burnt-orange mattresses and white bolster cushions, on mint terrazzo under scalloped green-and-cream parasols, with cacti planted between them.
Double sunloungers — white frame, burnt-orange cushion
  • The poolside from above the terrace: burnt-orange loungers under white parasols set around a small pool, swimmers on the entry steps, palms and the sea beyond.
    The poolside
  • The pool on its long axis at golden hour, palms either side of the lemon-yellow bar pavilion, burnt-orange loungers under cream parasols down both edges and GRAND PARADISO lettered across the pool floor.
    The long axis, golden hour
  • The same axis at midday under a deep blue sky, the stone watchtower and the yellow pavilion centred between palms, loungers and cream parasols down both sides of the water.
    The same axis at midday
  • A high view over the hotel from the sea side — beach and open water at the top, then palms, the lap pool and the ranks of orange loungers on the deck below.
    From the sea side

Burnt orange on a white frame, against mint terrazzo, under a scalloped parasol — three colours and a texture, repeated down both sides of a lettered pool until the repetition itself becomes the photograph. Nothing in the scheme is a soft furnishing decision: the frame is the colour, so it holds the same value at midday, at golden hour and from a drone.

The manufacturer’s asset record names the model, the colourway and the location in one line — “…Paradiso Hotel, Ibiza poolside”. That places these two pieces on this deck. It does not say which frame, and neither do we.

The bar

  • The bar pavilion seen across its terrace: a pale marble counter under a ribbed lemon-yellow canopy, white wire armchairs around white round tables on mint tiling, cacti along a low white wall and the town behind.
    The bar across its terrace

The counter changes register without leaving the palette: a ribbed lemon canopy over pale marble, and white wire seating on the mint tile in front.

Nothing attributed here

No record we hold names the wire armchairs. They are not attributed — identifying them from their outline is exactly what this page does not do.

The terraces

  • A guest room opening onto a white balcony above pines and the coast road, a daybed inside carrying pink-and-burgundy striped cushions and a white wire chair at the threshold.
    A guest terrace

Away from the water the scheme inverts: white frames stay, but the upholstery goes to the hotel’s own pink rather than the orange of the deck. It is the same specification decision — colour carried by the frame and the cushion together — tuned one register quieter for a room you sit in rather than swim from.

Nothing attributed here

No record we hold names the terrace seating, so none of it is attributed.

  • iSiMAR names PARADISO and LAGARTO for this venue but publishes no piece-by-piece schedule. Two pieces carry a record naming the model, the colourway and the venue together; nothing else on this page is claimed at SKU level.

What else is in the range

iSiMAR names these collections for this venue. Below they are in full — the pieces that match this look and the ones that sit near it, every one on the same frame colourways and the same fabric programme. This is the range, not a claim about which piece stands in which photograph.

Colours and fabrics of Grand Paradiso Ibiza

This is the venue’s own colour, measured rather than chosen: the 8 colours that hold the most area across the 8 frames on this page, each matched to the nearest powder-coat you can order it in.

How it is measured: Lower 60% of every frame, quantised to 64 colours, frames weighted equally, colours merged below dE 14 (CIE L*a*b*, D65), top 8 by share. Nearest frame powder-coat is the closest orderable colour, not a record of what was specified. A colour sampled off tile, render or water is not a claim that anything was coated in it — the right-hand column says what is orderable closest to it, and ΔE says how close. Under about 6 the two read as the same colour at swatch size; above about 15 they plainly do not.

The colourways a scheme like this is ordered from

Two independent axes, both on the standard order line, and neither is a record of what Grand Paradiso Ibiza bought — iSiMAR publishes no per-venue schedule. The frame is powder-coated in one of 32 colourways; the seat is made up in one of 14 fabric collections, graded I to III, plus the two Serge Ferrari slings.

The catalogue publishes no colour value for the fabric programme, so none is guessed here. It does print a swatch for each of the 61 named colours, and those printed samples are reproduced on every piece page — the collection is what an order line names. Cushion make-up runs in three tiers: Premium, Decorative, Fluffy.
