Replacement canopies & frames

A torn or faded canopy can be replaced without replacing the umbrella: the new canopy is made to the model and size of the frame you have, and supplied for fitting on site. A damaged frame is replaced with a new frame or a new umbrella, and both are quoted per umbrella set.

Before you start

What the quote needs.

  1. Maker, model and year

    Caravita Big Ben, Samara, Amalfi and so on, and the year it was bought or the original order number. The original invoice shows both.

  2. Shape and size

    Open the umbrella and measure the canopy edge to edge along each side, or across the widest point if it is round or octagonal.

  3. How many of each

    Each model and size is its own set.

  4. Frame and details

    Frame colour, and whether the canopy has a valance or a wind roof.

  5. Photographs

    One umbrella fully open, any label or tag, and a close view of the wear.

Can the canopy be replaced without replacing the umbrella?
Yes. The new canopy is made to the model and size of the frame, which stays in use.
Can the colour change?
Yes. A replacement can match the canopy it replaces or take a new colour from the fabric range.
What if the frame is damaged?
It is replaced with a new frame, or with a new umbrella.
Is the new canopy fitted?
No. It is supplied for fitting on site by your own team or contractor.
